Accelerate any pregnancies to term, and toddler the baby up if the mother had already been in the last day of pregnancy. For babies and toddlers, advance them to the next stage. Use Simblender to age everyone three days (except teens set to go to college in the next couple 'days'). I play each household in my checklist its usual time, but take the following steps on several of them, where no one is on the verge of any major changes (aging up, reaching top of career, etc):
Thanks to a couple of mods, I found a way to do sort of a manual 'Story Progression,' or at least a compromise, into my rotation (40 households or so, played a day or semester at a time). I went through three generations in about the time it takes to get my TS2 rotation through a day or two. I found it so freeing to concentrate on one or two households, and still have everyone else live their lives (such as they are) and age with the Sims I'm playing. But I do have to say I fell in love with one TS3 feature: Story Progression. Let me know.Ĭoming back to TS2 after a couple of months of mainly Pudding, I am embracing several things I've missed: The look of the Sims, the straightforward genetics, the lightning bolts, to name a few. Note: Since this is about a TS3 feature, I would be happy to move this to the Pudding section, if people feel it would be more appropriate there.
